Shift Into Space - Breathwork & Sound Series

What you can expect:
Shift your state of being, come back to self through your breath, meditation and sound bath. Learn different techniques that can be added to your toolbox to regulate your everyday life.
We will begin by moving through a few restorative poses to settle into the space and create space within our body for the breath. From there we will transition into regular diaphragmatic breath that will calm our nervous system and then slowly shift into active 3-part breathwork, where we will clear stagnant energy and open our energetic channels, move through emotion, quiet the ego mind, improve immune system, improve sleep and more. We will finish with meditation and sound bath to close. This class is curated to gain embodiment.
Parking at venue (FREE), elevator and stairs, washrooms, change rooms and lounge area.

What you can expect:
This 90-minute workshop is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and create space for it all to exist. Through beginner-friendly breathwork, mindful movement, and somatic practices, you’ll be guided to calm the nervous system, move stagnant energy, and reconnect with your body’s natural rhythm.
Come as you are and take up space. Laugh, dance, cry, or be still. This is your time to connect, release, and create space within.@thespace_lonsdalequay

Nourish From Within ~ An Evening Retreat At The Garden

Join Meg and Becca for an immersive embodied 4.5 hour evening retreat experience at The Garden. This experience is all about quieting the noise from the external world and arriving into the internal world.
Meg will begin by grounding us into the space with slow restorative movement. We will gently move into different breathwork techniques where we will open up our diaphragm, energetic channels and emotional awareness, from there we will softly transition into meditation and sound bath.
Tea and snacks will be served in the cafe downstairs after we finish the soundbath.We will then gently transition upstairs again to be seated for a long table 3 course family style dinner where Becca will serve up a specially curated menu encompassing all locally sourced in-season ingredients. A Sunday in August natural wine selection for the table will accompany the dishes.
Where urban city meets forestry, we will meet embodiment.
